Let’s get physical.

My poor neglected Nintendo Wii. How could I have forgotten you? Well, those days are over. I’m dusting off the Wii fit and getting back in business. While at Target the other night, contemplating buying a nice scale – a real scale, not some janky cheap excuse for a scale – we realized that we could use our Wii fit for a scale. I’ve had this thing for many months and the factory tape has yet to be broken. I hate weighing myself but I realize I have to face the music and do it in order to progress down my road to fitness. Today begins my relationship with my old forgotten friend, Wii. I know we’ll have good times together.

Yellow Snot

One of the perks about having a doctor dad is that he can tell you things like ‘Having yellow snot means you have a bacterial infection.’ Yes, folks. I arrived home to Guam not 2 days ago with a bacterial infection which was contracted in the air somewhere between Japan and Guam. I blame it on the stupid coughing little kids sitting both behind and in front of me. Little shits.

It’s been a great couple of days so far despite the sneezing, stuffy head and inability to breathe through my nose. Lots of people to see that I have to try and keep my energy up for. Today, I’m lunching with 2 very good friends from my childhood. We’re eating at a place called Jamaican Grill and my mouth is salivating thinking of the Jerk Chicken to be had! I’m expecting to gain 10lbs on this trip. I might as well eat good while I can!

We’ve been keeping ourselves busy with my dad’s Wii. Yep, you read correctly – my dad bought a Wii. How cute is that? 75 year old man playing Wii Tennis. A-DOR-A-BLE. We now are planning to buy one if we can find one. Must go – husband’s starting Wii Bowling without me.

My arm hurts.
